How the Procedure is Performed
Carried out entirely under real-time ultrasound guidance. A fine needle (22-25G) is advanced to the target tissue plane, and fluid is injected gradually to create a visible separation ('halo sign') around the structure. The outpatient procedure takes only a few minutes, allowing immediate return to daily activities.
