INTRAOSSEOUS INJECTIONS
Intraosseous injections of PRP or hyaluronic acid are delivered directly into the subchondral bone, where inflammation, microfractures and bone marrow lesions originate—key drivers of pain and progression in osteoarthritis.
Using advanced technique and image guidance, the biological material is delivered into the subchondral bone, where the problem begins. Our goals are to reduce inflammation, target bone marrow lesions, support natural healing, reduce pain, and improve joint function.
Traditional intra-articular injections target inside the joint to support articular cartilage and synovial fluid. In contrast, intraosseous injections target the subchondral bone directly, addressing bone marrow lesions and reducing pain at the source, offering better outcomes in selected patients.
